Submission Deadline March 31st for Next Staged Reading 

Our next staged reading will be on May 16th and 17th in the Paul Cooper room at the Cary Arts Center.  Send a pdf or doc file of your work in standard play format to submissions@caryplaywrightsforum.org by March 31st.  Short plays, one acts, and excerpts from larger works are acceptable.  Playwrights may receive feedback from their director on their play during the preparation or rehearsal process.  Please include a synopsis of your play and detailed character information in your email.

6-8 Directors Needed for Staged Reading

Interested in directing a piece for the staged reading?  Staged readings are a great opportunity for experienced directors to experiment and for new directors to get their feet wet working on a fun and low pressure event with a limited rehearsal schedule.  If you are interested in directing this time around please contact Lydia Sbityakov at lydia@caryplaywrightsforum.org.
