Cary Playwrights’ Forum will hold auditions for its upcoming spring Staged Reading on April 14th and 15th from 7 to 9 pm in Room M10 of the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. in Cary.  The performances will be on the evenings of Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th at the Cary Arts Center.   We have from 8 to 10 short plays from local playwrights available for the reading performances. Performers may audition on either night and auditions will consist of readings from the scheduled plays. Actors of all ages are encouraged to audition. You may be cast in one or more readings. Please bring the CPF Spring 2014 Staged Reading Audition Form and the CPF Spring 2014 Staged Reading Conflict Calendar along with a headshot or photograph of you (a selfie will do).

The performances will consist of formal staged readings of the plays, so memorization and staging will not be required. We anticipate about three rehearsals and a final full dress rehearsal on the afternoon of May 11th. Questions?  Please contact Fred Yaffe at fred.yaffe@caryplaywrightsforum.org.
